Progressive diastolic dysfunction in survivors of pediatric differentiated thyroid carcinoma

Background: Pediatric differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) has an excellent prognosis, but has unknown late effects of treatment. Initial cardiac evaluation showed subclinical diastolic dysfunction in 20% of adult survivors.
